`domus tertiae probationis'; founded 1622; see Hamy 22, 35. Les Jésuites belges 1542-1992, ed. Alain Deneef and others (Brussels, 1992), 32 suggests that a Jesuit school was founded in 1585, and 33 that there was a Jesuit college by the end of the first decade of the seventeenth century.
