Wargrave, William (fl. 1486-1498); Benedictine monk, Reading Abbey, Berkshire; listed among the monks of Reading Abbey who participated in the two meetings which elected John Thorne II Abbot of Reading in 1486, for which see The Register of Thomas Langton Bishop of Salisbury 1485-93, ed. D.P. €Wright, Canterbury and York Society, 74 (1985), 55, no. 431; gave to Reading Abbey London, British Library, MS. Harley 330, in 1495, and an incunable, now Cambridge, University Library, Oates 3230, in 1498; whilst at Leominster Priory, Reading Abbey's daughter house, in 1490, he recovered Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS.
