founded Dublin Political Review and The Drama, 1824; edited Dublin Evening Post. 1854 sale catalogue of his library, including many incunabula and early manuscripts; many went to Trinity College Dublin and the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, for which see J. S. Crone, A Concise Dictionary of Irish Biography (Dublin, 1937).
