Early foliation and signatures, underlining, and occasional marginal notes. In the same hand, on A1r two distichs, which occur as a printed addition in other editions of the text [e.g. Antwerp: Gerard Leeu, 14 Mar. 1489]: ‘Alberti Magni manibus sepe iste libellus | Dulciter amplexus, sit tibi mente sedens | Virtutes veras nam ex hoc cognoscere posses | Quis potes ad celos carpere tutus iter' (Walther, Initia, 733).

Provenance: On E8r ‘36.H'(?), possibly an old shelfmark. Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; no. 2874 in list of duplicates in quarto. Purchased from Caspar Haugg for 4 Marks, Catalogue 82 (1886), no. 5; see Library Bills (1886), no. 80.
