Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf (c.1825); gold-tooled spine; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.

Size of leaf: 328 × 217 mm.

Copious marginal annotations in a number of early hands, including many in the hand which wrote the Drabantius inscription (see below). Some underlining in black ink and pointing hands. On a2r a manuscript table giving the number of chapters in each book.

Provenance: Nicolaus Drabantius († in or before 1537); inscription on a1r: ‘hunc librum emi 3a post Agnetis 1537 ab executoribus piissimi viri Nicolai Drabantii predicatoris in Mulbron.' Sebastianus Aurelius (sixteenth century); inscription on a1r. Bartholomeus, Prior of Denckendorf (fl. 1562); inscription on a1r: ‘Ex libris Bartholomei prepositi Denckendorffensis . . . 62'.
