Binding: Seventeenth-century English reversed calf. Formerly chained: staple-marks of a hasp at head of the upper cover; on both covers a frame formed by triple fillets. The gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.

Early marginal notes. Hexameter on a1r: ‘non ego deserto []atavissem frigida lecto.’
