Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century English half calf (c.1799); marbled pastedowns; bound for Francis Douce. Previously bound with Douce 77, Dialogus Salomonis et Marcolphi [Strasbourg: Printer of Henricus Ariminensis (Georg Reyser?), c.1480] (S‑040), possibly as issued. A parchment index tab dyed green on a2 of item 1.

‘ad Eccles' in upper margin of [a2r]; the hand may be that of ‘Ieorgius Franck' (sixteenth century?) who has added a similar note to the first printed leaf of item 4 and signed the last leaf. Nineteenth-century(?) pencil note in lower margin: ‘Too imperfect to think of cataloguing it.’

Provenance: Francis Douce (1757-1834); armorial book-plate. Bequeathed in 1834.
