Binding: Contemporary French blind-tooled morocco over pasteboards, holes for four clasps; rebacked. On both covers fillets form a frame; the inner rectangle is divided by fillets into five vertical compartments. In the frame, a stamp(?); the inner rectangle is divided into five vertical compartments, each with adjoining stamps: two with fleurs-de-lys in lozenge-shaped compartments, two with flowers in lozenge-shaped compartments, and one with a diamond-shaped stamp with a floral ornament.

Size: 280 × 203 × 12 mm.

Size of leaf: 275 × 193 mm.

Occasional sixteenth/seventeenth-century marginal notes.

Some initials are supplied in ink.
