Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century gold-tooled diced russia; marbled pastedowns; triple fillets form a border, within which a roll of cornucopiae, bucrania, lyres, and Aesculapian staffs; rebacked re-using old spine.

On a2r an eighteen-line initial is supplied in blue with pen-work infill and pen-flourishing in red and green; occasional initials are supplied in a similar style. Other initials are supplied in red or blue; paragraph marks are supplied in red; red capital strokes and underlining.

On a2r an eighteen-line historiated initial is supplied in magenta with highlighting in white, depicting a monk holding a book, on a blue background with white highlighting and within a gold frame; foliate extensions into the inner margin in blue, green, and magenta with some gold-dotting. In gatherings a–h, other initials are supplied in red or blue with pen-flourishing in light blue and red. Paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue.
