Size: 297 × 219 × 23 mm.

Size of leaf: 287 × 202 mm.

A few early marginal notes; on a8r a correction and an addition to the text in the red ink of the rubricator; also on b7r; on G2v the rubricator changes a supplied initial ‘E' to a correct ‘P'; also intelinear corrections in the rubricator's hand.

On a2r a six-line initial ‘C' is supplied in interlocked blue and red. Other initials are supplied in red or blue, some with reserved white decoration; red capital strokes and underlining.

Provenance: Joseph Niesert (1766-1841); inscription on a1v dated 1816; sale (1843), lot 13679. Purchased for £1. 12. 0; see Books Purchased (1843), 15.
