Early running headings and folio numbers.

On [a1r] a ten-line initial is supplied in light green with highlighting in yellow, pink infill with yellow pen-flourishing within a gold frame; floral extension in pink, green, and blue into the inner, lower, and outer margins. Other initials are supplied in red or blue; paragraph marks are supplied in red; red capital strokes and underlining.

Provenance: Seeon, Bavaria, Benedictines, S. Lambertus; bought by Abbot Honoratus Kolb (fl. 1634-1653); on [a1r]: ‘Honoratus Abbas in Seon comparauit. 1638. 14 Maÿ'. Purchased in 1881 from S. Calvary & Co.; letter from Calvary to H. O. Coxe, dated 31 May 1881 and offering the book for sale, attached to the recto of the front endleaf.
