Wanting the blank leaves a1 and u4.
Line 3 of the colophon on u3r reads ‘teuthonicos', not ‘theutonicos' as GW. Part of a uniformly bound set of five volumes, all purchased at the Butler sale and probably previously owned by the Cistercians in Valencia.
Binding: Quarter parchment over pasteboards, the sides covered with leaves from a fifteenth-century antiphonary; the same manuscript as B‑095, B‑101, B‑120, and B‑121.
Size: 409 × 285 × 40 mm.
Size of leaf: 405 × 276 mm.
Occasional early marginal notes. On u3v a note about the number of gatherings and folios in a sixteenth/seventeenth-century hand: ‘F 160 Q. 20'; but really 154 leaves.
Provenance: Probably Valencia, Cistercians, S. Bernardo; see ownership inscription in B‑121; old shelfmark on spine, ‘M II 9', probably from Valencia. Samuel Butler (1774-1839); sale, pt II, lot 233(1). Purchased for £1. 1. 0; see annotated sale catalogue, and Books Purchased (1840), 33.
SHELFMARK: Auct. 3Q 3.14.
