Binding: Contemporary German(?) half sheep, dyed red and with fillets, over modern boards. Old spine laid down.

Running headings in an early hand.
On [a2r] an initial is supplied in blue with mayflower infill in red and pale green and pen-flourishing in the same colours; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue.
Provenance: Freising, Cathedral Chapter; on front pastedown an engraved book-plate: the Virgin and Child on a crescent moon, lettered below ‘Insignia Capituli', see Warnecke 559. Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; ‘Duplum' on [a1r] and ‘Inc. Typ. Nro. 192' on [a1v]. Acquired between 1847 and c.1892, probably in 1850; not in Catalogus (1843) with Appendix.
