Interleaved, with a German translation in rhymed couplets written in a fifteenth-century hand, incipit: ‘Hÿe hebt sich an ein pŮech zehantt, | Das ist von hŮbschen plŮmlein genant . . .', see Henkel, Schultexte, 251.

Binding: Contemporary German blind-tooled calf over wooden boards, one central boss and four corner-pieces on each cover, remains of two metal clasps; rebacked. On both covers fillets form a triple frame. In the central compartment a large round rosette stamp; in the middle frame, stamped scrolls with the inscription ‘MARIA' in capitals; in the outer frame, a lozenge-shaped fleur-de-lis stamp.

Size: 225 × 150 × 30 mm.

Size of leaf: 205 × 132 mm.
