Manuscript tables of contents on front endleaf of both volumes. Occasional early marginal notes and corrections. At the end of vol. 2 are bound 39 manuscript leaves on different paper ([1-310 44-1 56]) containing [Stephen Langton's] ‘Interpretaciones de hebreo siroque ad latinum per alphabetum latinarum litterarum' in a fifteenth-century hand, incipit: ‘Interpretaciones per A litteram. Aac apprehendens vel apprehensio . . .'; i.e. Pref. no. 65. The manuscript heading ‘Tabula compendiosa omnium librorum biblie' on [*2r].

In the Tabula, principal initials are supplied in red or blue with pen-flourishing in grey. Other initials are supplied in red or blue; headings in blue or red; red paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining. Other principal initials are supplied in red or blue, occasionally with floral decoration (foliate staff) in beige, green, and blue and infill in brown, blue, and beige, and pen-flourishing extending into the inner margin in blue or red; on [O2r] an uncoloured drawing for a painted initial. Initials are supplied in red or blue; red headings, paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining. On [BB7r] drawing of a cross by the rubricator lettered ‘Deus meus et omnia'.

Provenance: Erased ownership inscription on [*2r] of the Tabula and on [O2r]: ‘Conu[entus] [unread placename] f[ra]trum min[orum] Recoll[ectorum]'. Purchased for £47. 5. 0; see Books Purchased (1808), 1.
