Sheppard notes: ‘Without the Interpretationes hebraicorum nominum'; this text is, however, not part of this ed. (see note at the end of the volume). Sheets 22.9 and 23.8 have changed places in binding.

Binding: Contemporary German/Austrian blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, two clasps lost. On the upper cover fillets form a triple frame; the inner rectangle is divided by fillets into vertical compartments. In the compartments and within the outer frame, a palm-leaf stamp; within the central frame, a large rosette stamp. On the lower cover fillets form a triple frame; the inner rectangle is divided by fillets into lozenge-shaped compartments. In the compartments a small flower stamp; within the middle frame, a palm-leaf stamp; within the outer frame, a large rosette stamp alternating with the small flower stamp. The gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.

Size: 313 × 220 × 140 mm.

Size of leaf: 300 × 208 mm.

Reinforcing strips from a fifteenth- or early sixteenth-century German document on parchment, issued by Jörig Löb confirming the purchase of land in Asch.

Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; red underlining.
