Binding: Contemporary German blind-tooled calf over wooden boards; bosses, corner-pieces, and two clasps lost; fillets form a double frame close to the edges of the boards; red edges; parchment index tabs with printed initials of books.

A few early marginal notes.

On a2r an initial is supplied in red with floral infill in brown and yellow, on a green ground within a blue frame; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; red capital strokes and underlining.
