On a1v a note on liturgical lessons in the hand of Henricus Bagher. Some watermarks outlined in pencil.

On a2r a 14-line initial ‘F' is supplied in red, with decoration and infill in yellow, and edged in gold, and with pen-work extensions into the margins, in black ink, decorated with gold and red. On a4v a 14-line initial ‘I' is supplied in red, with reserved white decoration and pen-work infill in brown ink. Other initials are supplied in red or blue. Paragraph marks are supplied in red.

Provenance: Henricus Bagher (fl. 1498); inscription on a1v: ‘Collectum in octa die assumptionis Marie a Domino Doctore Hinrico Bagher anno 1498'. Date of acquisition unknown; the shelfmark indicates a date after 1883.
