Binding: Sixteenth-century German blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards; two clasps lost. On both covers fillets form two concentric frames. In the inner rectangle an ornamental centre-piece and corner-pieces; in the frames a floral roll and a cresting roll.

Copious early marginal notes in Latin.
