The incunable edition ends with part II, ch. 17 (part II, ch. 18 in Lecestre's edition); in incunable, part I, chs 10 and 11 both numbered as ch. 10. For part I, ch. 7, see Bueil, Le Jouvencel, ed. Lecestre, I 130-5, 139 note for manuscript version E, and 149-53 for the incunable (f2r l. 32–f2v l. 16 in the incunable). Part I, ch. 8 is omitted from the numbering in the incunable and seems only to exist in Bueil, Le Jouvencel, ed. Lecestre as variant readings. Variations in endings of many chapters in incunable ed.
