Collation: [*6] a–z A–O8 [†12]. Gathering [†] is numbered but not signed. Collation differs from GW, which describes the unsigned gathering [†12] as <2 3 4 5 6>12, and as preceding the signed gatherings, but omits [*6] from the collation, although the contents of these leaves are described. BMC gives [*6] a-z A–O8 [**12?].

Table of contents on [*1r-v] in a fifteenth-century Southern German hand. Above is a contemporary note: ‘De zoroastre rege bactrianiorum sermone 36 ut ait siluius(?) et augustinus li[bro] .xx. de ciuitate dei', signed ‘Gewollff von rustumb(?)'. Early foliation and occasional marginal notes.

Provenance: Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; no. ‘2581' on [*1r] a nineteenth-century paper strip with shelfmark ‘Inc. 2581'. Acquired between 1847 and c.1892, possibly in 1850; not in Catalogus (1843) with Appendix.
