Wanting the blank leaves [a1] and [D10]. Without gatherings2 [a]–[c] (the supplement of 3 sermons).

Gatherings [a], [e], and the outer sheet of gathering [b] are 4° (not as BMC). Leaf [m1] is bound after [m8]. The final ‘j' of the date in the colophon has been erased.

Binding: Eighteenth-century Italian gold-tooled mottled calf.

Size: 275 × 205 × 55 mm.

Size of leaf: 265 × 188 mm.

Folio references in the ‘Tabula' added in a sixteenth-century hand. Early marginal notes, washed out, mainly excerpting key words.

On [a3r] a seven-line initial is supplied in red with pen-work decoration in brown ink; on the same page, an initial and paragraph marks are supplied in red.

Provenance: Alessandro Bizzoni; on [a2r] an inscription: ‘Ex libris fratris Alexandri Bizzonii Genuens[is] Augustiniani Theologi'. Purchased for £0. 17. 6; see Books Purchased (1849), 9.
