Binding: Nineteenth-century English blind-tooled blue morocco, imitating a Gothic style; endpapers watermarked ‘Rye Mill'; gilt-edged leaves; probably bound for John Bellingham Inglis (ex informatione Andrew Honey); the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.

Size: 272 × 207 × 12 mm.

Size of leaf: 265 × 198 mm.

Note on front endleaf on ‘the Golden Bull' and verse to Carolus IV, with incipit: ‘Carole cum belli, cum pacis munera tractas | Ambiguum reddis, qua magis arte vales'.

Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red. Capital strokes and underlining in red.
