Binding: Eighteenth-century English gold-tooled calf; marbled pastedowns; on both covers a dentelle border; foliate centre-piece; rebacked, the old spine laid down.

Size: 286 × 192 × 33 mm.

Size of leaf: 261 × 181 mm.

Occasional early marginal notes in English.

Provenance: Sir Charles Frederick (1709/10-1785); armorial book-plate; see Howe, Book Plates, 11308. Edmond Malone (1741-1812). Presented in 1821.
