Binding: Eighteenth-century gold-tooled green morocco, bound for MacCarthy Reagh; see coronet tool on turn-ins; marbled pastedowns; gilt-edged leaves; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.

Early marginal notes and underlining in red ink. Note about the purchase and make-up of the book in red ink on verso of front endleaf, perhaps by an unidentified member of the Bodleian staff.
