Binding: Seventeenth-century English (Oxford) blind-tooled calf for the Bodleian Library; two ties lost; rebacked. Fragments of a twelfth-century commentary on Judicum and of a thirteenth-century exposition of liturgical terms in the Missal used as pastedowns; see Ker, Pastedowns, nos 1511-12; the gold stamp of the Library on both covers.

Initials supplied in brown ink.

Provenance: John Barcham or Barkham (1572?–1642); on front endleaf inscription: ‘Liber Uniuersitatis Oxon[iensis] ex dono Johannis Barchami, Socii Coll. Corp. Christi Oxon[iensis]', followed by a list of contents in the same hand. Donated by Barcham; see James, Catalogus (1605), 305; Jensen, ‘Benefactors' Register', no. 75.
