Size of leaf: 210 × 133 mm.

Principal initials are supplied in blue with pen-flourishing in red. Decorative line-fillers in red and blue. Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; red capital strokes and underlining. Both items in the volume are decorated in the same style.

Provenance: John Maude (nineteenth century); on a1r of item 1 inscription: ‘Ex armario Jo. Maude'. Sir Mark Masterman Sykes (1771-1823); armorial stamp. J. T. Hand (fl. 1834-1837); signatures on the upper cover and endleaves; purchased at his sale (1837), lot 100, for £0. 7. 0; see Books Purchased (1837), 10.
