At the end are bound the first four leaves of a fifteenth/sixteenth-century manuscript of a Latin-French vocabulary.

Wanting the blank leaves [*1] and a1 and the lower portion of the last leaf, the text printed under line 3 and the woodcut supplied in manuscript facsimile.

Binding: Eighteenth-century gold-tooled calf; marbled pastedowns.

Size: 294 × 205 × 33 mm.

Size of leaf: 281 × 194 mm.

On [*1r] a 13-line initial is supplied in interlocked red and blue with reserved white decoration and pen-flourishing in red; other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; red capital strokes and underlining.

Provenance: Francis Douce (1757-1834); armorial book-plate. Bequeathed in 1834.
