Dimitrij Petrovich, Count Boutourlin (1763-1829); armorial book-plate; shelfmark no. 549 (erroneously entered as 550 in the book and later corrected), see Catalogue (1831); sale (1841), lot 1653. Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf, imitating an earlier style; the edges are now coloured magenta; along the fore-edge can still be seen the earlier inscription of ‘AV GELLIUS', repeated; the two items were probably not bound together before the edges were coloured.
