Provenance: Jacques Rosenthal (1854-1937). H. M. Fletcher; according to a letter from Bernard Rosenthal, the San Francisco bookseller, to Fletcher, these are the leaves which GW recorded as in the possession of his grandfather, Jacques Rosenthal. GW states that eight leaves were in Rosenthal's possession, including leaves a3 and b8; both are present here, but there are only six leaves in total. Purchased in 1975-6 from H. M. Fletcher, on report, for £250; see ledger (1975/6), no. 1054.
