Provenance: Silvester Silvestrinus, de Carpineo (fl. 1625); on the back endleaf an inscription: ‘Ad usum mei fratris Siluestri Siluestrini de Carpineo ac amicorum meorum et hoc gratia Dei et Illustrissimi Domini Comitis Francisci Marie de Carp[ine]o. A quo gratis et amore accepi 1625'. A cancelled inscription on front endleaf. A cutting from Albert Cohn's catalogue 127, no. 1 is pasted in, but it does not refer to this copy. Robert Finch (1783-1830). Bequeathed to the University by R. Finch; see Finch catalogue 93. Taylor Institution, University of Oxford; book-plate with shelfmark in blue ink: ‘V 185'. Transferred to the Bodleian in 1921.
