Wanting a1 (the title-leaf).

Leaf a2v, l. 4 reads ‘ . . . Sur-| rexit . . .', not as BMC; leaf g1r, l. 1 reads ‘nolunt emēdare iniurias quas fecerūt aliis. Aug.'; k6v, lines 14-15 (lines 13-14 in BMC) read ‘rent abſtinere ac mundari ab omni crimine. et iſta | ſufficiant.' According to Sheppard, the BL copy appears to be made up from both editions, but the description is not conclusive. The woodcut of Death in the BL copy is on a7r, here on a6v.

Binding: Eighteenth-century half calf.

Size: 200 × 137 × 15 mm.

Size of leaf: 193 × 127 mm.

Provenance: Claude Paris, perhaps to be identified with Claude Paris (1636-1711); on k6v an inscription: ‘Claude paris presbiter cure du Thil'. Beauvais, Picardy, Benedictines, S. Petrus, later S. Lucianus; on a2r an inscription: ‘Monasterij Sanctj Lucianj Bellouacensis Congregationis Sanctj Maurj 1669'. Francis Douce (1757-1834); armorial book-plate. Bequeathed in 1834.
