A2r Pius II, Pont. Max. [pseudo-; Eyb, Albertus de]: Praecepta artis rhetoricae. Dedicated to [Johann] von Baden, Archbishop of Trier. Incipit: ‘[B]ene esset, vir illustris . . .’ Although transmitted under the name of Pius II and later included in his Opera omnia (Basel, 1571), 991-1034, this is in fact by Albertus de Eyb and part of his Margarita poetica; see VL I 180-6, at 182-3 no. 5.

Scholderer (BM, then based, during World War II, at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth) to H. R. Creswick, Deputy Bodley's Librarian.
