Size of leaf: 198 × 132 mm.

On the title-leaf, a fifteenth-century inscription: ‘Seneca: Si ad naturam vixeris numquam eris pauper'. A few early marginal notes, one in German.

Provenance: Frater [ ]ranis Winkel (sixteenth century?); inscription on d4v: ‘Frater [ ]ranis Winkel ist das püchel'. Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; ‘Dpl' and no. 41 in pencil on a1r, pencil no. ‘1556' on d4v. Acquired after 1841; given its shelfmark, presumably with money from the Mason bequest.
