Provenance: Heavily cancelled inscription on AA1r, with date 1505. Thomas Patrick Young (1727-1778); armorial book-plate, see Howe, Book Plates, 32933. Maffeo Pinelli (1735-1785); see Morelli (1787), III no. 6314, number written in ink on the front pastedown; sale (1789), lot 11217. Purchased for £2. 3. 0; the annotated sale catalogue does not give the name of the purchaser, but the same price as Books Purchased (1789), 5.
