Wanting the blank leaf DD8.
Bound in three volumes. The Inventarium is bound at the beginning of vol. 1. Sheets Vv1-2 are bound in reverse order, and have clearly been so since soon after the book was printed, given the note in a contemporary hand in the upper margin of Vv2r. A small engraving bearing the title ‘S. Guido Franc. 12 Jan.', presumably used as a bookmark, in vol. 3 between yy2 and yy3; on the saint, Guido de Cortona, see BS VII 505-8.
Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf (c.1825), bound for the Bodleian Library; gold-tooled spine. Leather index tabs, some dyed red, one, in vol. 3, a leather knot with paper attachment. The gold stamp of the Library on both covers.
Size: Vol. 1: 307 × 220 × 41 mm; vol. 2: 308 × 219 × 41 mm; vol. 3: 308 × 220 × 54 mm.
