Anna; in Douce's copy of A Catalogue of a Valuable Collection of Books Printed in the Fifteenth Century, Consigned from Abroad Containing Specimens of Most of the Early Printers; in the Finest Preservation and in the Original Monastic Bindings (London: Leigh & Sotheby, 15 June 1799), lot 16, consisting of items 1 and 2 in this volume, is marked with a ‘D', for Douce; the Catalogue has the manuscript annotation in Douce's hand ‘from a monastery in Bamberg'. Francis Douce (1757-1834). In Sotheby's annotated copy of the catalogue priced as £0. 3. 0.
