Leaf v1 misbound after t1; wanting the blank leaf S10.
Binding: Contemporary German blind-tooled tanned pigskin over wooden boards, with two metal clasps and catches, rebacked in the early seventeenth century. Triple fillets form an intersecting double frame. Within the outer frame are lozenge-shaped floral stamps; within the inner frame, lozenge-shaped floral stamps of two kinds; the inner rectangle is divided by diagonal triple fillets into four triangular compartments with the same floral stamps. The spine shows a vertical impression of crocketed cresting. Paper label on the upper part of the spine, letter ‘H' on the lower part, green-edged leaves.
Size: 354 × 234 × 72 mm.
Size of leaf: 341 × 212 mm.
Some marginal annotations, extracting key words, and some interlinear corrections, in an early German hand; on d10v a drawing of a human figure with a pointing hand. On R3r a drawing of a cross and an ass relating to the text of the gloss.
On [et]3r two four-line initials made up of cadelles are supplied in green.
