Binding: Nineteenth-century English blind-tooled calf, bound for the Bodleian Library; a floral roll forms a cross on both covers.

Size: 292 × 215 × 42 mm.

Size of leaf: 283 × 198 mm.

On [a1v] a note, in a sixteenth-century(?) hand: ‘Onuphrius [Panvinius] in libello de stationibus urbis Romae haec quae sequuntur scribit'; incipit: ‘Siue Joannes Diaconus libro secundo de vita sancti Gregorii papae stationes inquit . . .' Foliation numbers added to the table in black ink in a fifteenth-century(?) hand. Underlining in the text in black ink.

On [a2r] a five-line initial ‘B' is supplied in interlocked red and blue; other two-line initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue. Capitals touched with yellow wash. Foliation numbers are supplied in black ink in an early hand.
