Binding: Sixteenth-century gold-tooled leather over pasteboards, stamped with the arms of Ferdinand Martins Mascarenhas, Bishop of Faro, on which is superimposed the armorial stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Formerly chained: staple-marks of a hasp at the head of the upper cover. ‘27' across the upper part of the fore-edge.

Fragments of seventeenth-century list of books with Bodleian shelfmarks pasted on the front and rear pastedowns.
