Binding: Nineteenth-century Italian half red morocco, with turquoise-edged leaves and turquoise bookmark; bound for Boutourlin.

On [*1r] is a bibliographical note by J. T. Hand.

On a1r a ten-line initial is supplied in red and blue, with red pen-work decoration extending into the margin; a bearded face emerges from the left-hand side of the letter, facing into the inner margin. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red.
