Binding: Sixteenth-century blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, bevelled inwards, with metal clasps and catches; title on the spine and across the fore-edge; triple fillets form a triple frame, containing respectively rolls of crocketed cresting, foliage, and a foliate staff; in an inner rectangle headed-outline tools make up merrythoughts, each containing a foliate stamp.
Size: 280 × 192 × 60 mm.
Size of leaf: 268 × 182 mm.
A few marginal annotations, extracting key words, and ‘nota' marks in an early hand on both items. Paper slip inserted between k3 and k4 with eighteenth/nineteenth-century inscription: ‘J. T. 298 Gersonis Monotessaron M. 466 M.’
