Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled light brown calf; bound for the Bodleian Library.

Size: 300 × 207 × 90 mm.

Size of leaf: 293 × 200 mm.

Marginal annotations, extracting key words, and ‘nota bene' marks, in an early hand. Early inscription on front endleaf: ‘Beatus homo qui non peccat in æternum'. The gatherings are signed in an early hand below the right column of the versos.

A few initials are supplied in red and capital strokes in red.

Provenance: Marienfeld, Westphalia, Cistercians, S. Maria; sixteenth-century(?) inscription on [a1r]: ‘Ad Biblioth. Campi S. Maria'. Purchased for £2. 0. 0; see Books Purchased (1858), 51.
