Binding: Contemporary blind-tooled calf over wooden boards, one clasp, hinged from the lower cover, and a scar of a catch positioned towards the centre of the upper cover. Four parchment index tabs dyed red. ‘600' printed on a paper label at the head of spine and added in pen on a1r of item 1. Double fillets form an intersecting double frame. Within the outer frame circular and lozenge-shaped quatrefoil stamps; on the upper cover, diagonal triple fillets divide the inner rectangle into lozenge-shaped and triangular compartments, with circular eagle stamps; on the back cover, diagonal triple fillets divide the inner rectangle into four triangular compartments, each containing the eagle stamp. Rebacked.
