Binding: Blind-tooled calf, with gilt-edged leaves. Triple fillets form a frame. In the four corners, centre, and on the spine is a skull and cross-bones. On both covers in the centre the instruments of the passion above the skull and cross-bones. ‘7' printed on paper label on the spine.
Size: 176 × 112 × 22 mm.

Some large woodcuts coloured. Two- to three-line initials are supplied in red with white pen-work decoration, on a gold ground; the area defined by the letter is decorated with a pink, red, or blue flower with stem and two leaves. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue, occasionally red and blue. Capitals touched with yellow wash. Ruling in red ink.
