Wanting A1 containing on the recto the device of Pigouchet, on the verso the almanac for xxi years.

Binding: Sixteenth-century French calf; on both covers, a gilt oval centre-piece containing two initial G's addorsed, one inverted. Rebacked, with the original spine pasted onto the front pastedown; on it is ‘51' at the head, ‘771' on a paper label at the tail. Gilt-edged leaves.

Size: 150 × 106 × 24 mm.

Size of leaf: 143 × 97 mm.

On N8r is a note in a contemporary French hand: ‘Fin disz heures etc a lusage de'.

Initials and line fillers are supplied in gold on a red, blue, or brown ground. Some capitals touched with yellow wash. Ruling in red.
