Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century English marbled calf; marbled pastedowns; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.

Size: 304 × 217 × 29 mm.

Size of leaf: 296 × 190 mm.

Early marginal and interlinear notes, corrections to the text, underlining in the text, ‘nota' marks, and pointing hands, mainly in black but also occasionally in red ink. On p6r the register is enclosed within red rules; annotations on p6v are now covered by the backing sheet.

Partial rubrication: on a2r a four-line initial ‘M' is supplied in blue, and on a2v a two-line initial ‘I' is supplied in red; the printed title on a2r is enclosed within a scroll of red and blue.

Provenance: Various inscriptions dated 1549 on p6v.
