Early marginal notes. Signatures supplied in black ink in a contemporary hand, a–z A–C, the gathering with the capitula not being included.

Principal six- and seven-line initials are supplied in interlocked blue and pink, the bodies of some letters being decorated with red and black pen-work, and having pen-work extensions into the margins in red and black; other one- to three-line initials are supplied in red.
