Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century gold-tooled calf, with red-edged leaves. ‘1423' on a lozenge-shaped paper label at the head of upper cover and, together with ‘C & P', on front pastedown in brown ink.

Size: 217 × 158 × 12 mm.

Size of leaf: 208 × 150 mm.

Marginal notes, extracting key words, in a humanist hand. Note in Rawlinson's hand on front pastedown.

Provenance: Thomas Rawlinson (1681-1725); his note C[ollated] & P[erfect] inside upper cover; purchased at his sale (22 Nov. 1727), lot 1423.

Former Bodleian shelfmark: ‘Rawl. 41. 4to’ on front endleaf and according to ‘Catalogus Bibliothecae Novae', fol. 172r.
