Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century gold-tooled calf, with red-edged leaves. ‘1423' on a lozenge-shaped paper label at the head of upper cover and, together with ‘C & P', on front pastedown in brown ink.

Size of leaf: 208 × 150 mm.
Marginal notes, extracting key words, in a humanist hand. Note in Rawlinson's hand on front pastedown.
Provenance: Thomas Rawlinson (1681-1725); his note C[ollated] & P[erfect] inside upper cover; purchased at his sale (22 Nov. 1727), lot 1423.
