With variant colophon: ‘Cy finiſt Lucan Suetoine [et] Sa | luſte en francoys Imprime a paris Le | xxije iour de decēbre miliiijCC.iiijxx.[et] x. | . . . no| ſtreſire . . . | . . . lymage | . . .’ The device of Le Rouge below the colophon has been cut away, and one of Bocard's inserted later. On the verso of the leaf is a modern reproduction of a device of Vérard.

Binding: Eighteenth-century mottled calf, with gold-tooled spine and marbled pastedowns.
